Lisa is a professional dancer, singer and on-camera talent. She specializes in Country and Latin dance, as well as other partner dances, and oftentimes provides Line Dance Interactive Entertainment to a variety of musical genres. 

 

As a pre-concert entertainer, she has worked with Grammy award-winning artists Dierks Bentley, Dan + Shay and Florida Georgia Line, as well as for CMA award-winning Jon Pardi and many others.  She performs at festivals, corporate events and amphitheater concerts, collaborating with bands and venues from California to North Carolina...and beyond. 

 

Lisa performs on-screen, as well, and can be seen as a Principal Dancer, Line Dancing in the Grammy award-winning music video for the longest running #1 Billboard song of all time, Lil Nas X' "Old Town Road," featuring Billy Ray Cyrus.

Lisa is also a singer, and performed on the episode premiering January 19th, 2020 of the nationally televised Emmy award-winning show, Shark Tank.  As a model and actress, she has modeled in print, digital media and at events and can be seen in films such as The History Channel's Vampire Secrets and in commercials (e.g. Blue Shield).

Images of Lisa dancing have been published in articles and in books, such as her dancing Bachata in the third edition of Distinguished Chair Fulbright Scholar Dr. Stan Breckenridge's college textbook, Popular Music in America: Forging the American Spirit.  She has also been featured Salsa dancing in an image previously on The Autry Museum of the American West's (Los Angeles) website for their Sizzling Salsa Nights event series.  

 

Lisa's writing - much of which centers around music and dance - can be found in publications such as the Huffington Post and San Francisco's 7x7 Magazine.  And she is a former member of The Forbidden Roses Burlesque Troupe and of the Ritmo y Salsa Dance Company, both based in Los Angeles.    

 

With a curiosity for the world and passion for connecting with people through a variety of avenues, Lisa has studied, worked and lived in Europe and South America, and enjoyed interactions with people in over 20 countries around the world.  Lisa Konczal grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and studied at N.C. State University, Duke University's Center for Documentary Studies and l'Université Catholique de Lille in France.  After five years based in San Francisco, and then a decade based in Los Angeles, Lisa is currently bicoastal between California and the Carolinas... and beyond.
